At Home Caregivers is a proud sponsor of the Alzheimer’s Association and a regular supporter of the annual Walk to End Alzheimer’s. The walk is held each October at Shollenberger Park in Petaluma. The event typically includes over 1,500 “walkers” and raises over $300,000 to fight Alzheimer’s disease. For the past two years, At Home Caregivers has had the pleasure of keeping walkers fully hydrated by sponsoring the “Hydration Station” featuring free water bottles and water refills.

Alzheimer’s is the 6th leading cause of death in the United States. Today over 5.7 million Americans are living with Alzheimer’s disease or a related dementia, including an estimated 200,000 under the age of 65. Gifts to the Alzheimer’s Association continue their mission to eliminate the disease through the advancement of research and to enhance care and support for all affected.
