Q.Are caregivers supervised? Is a supervisor available 24/7 in an emergency?
Yes! We do regular in-home quality assessments. Our staff also provides daily Care Notes for each shift, for each client served. A supervisor will respond to calls 24/7/365.
Q.Who cares for my loved one if their caregiver is unable to work due to illness?
We provide a replacement caregiver whenever necessary. We have never left a client in need unattended, ever.
Q.Do you accept long-term care insurance? How does that work?
Yes. While we don’t usually take the “assignment of benefits,” our services are reimbursed by long-term care insurance agencies including Genworth, John Hancock, CalPERS, MetLife, Thrivent, Bankers Life, Penn Treaty, CNA, and Conseco. As a free service, we submit weekly invoices and Care Notes to both the client and the insurer.
Q.What background checks do you perform before hiring a caregiver?
Every caregiver completes our extensive, proprietary application plus:
- Social security verification — I-9 check
- Federal & statewide criminal checks
- Local county criminal check
- Nationwide sexual predator check
- CA DMV check
- Reference checks
All caregivers are also certified on the California Home Care Aide Registry.

We’re located in downtown Santa Rosa, an easy trip northwest from Sonoma. By car, take Highway 12 west from Sonoma toward Santa Rosa, then follow the signs into the downtown area until you reach 2nd Street. The drive usually runs about twenty-five to thirty minutes depending on traffic.
